Hope for Restoration

35Even the wilderness and desert will be glad in those days. The deserts will become as green as the mountains of Lebanon, as lovely as Mount Carmel or the plain of Sharon. Assyria Invades Judah

36In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah’s reign

from Lachish with a huge army to confront King Hezekiah in Jerusalem. Sennacherib Threatens Jerusalem
