22:19-21 Save Me as You Have Done Before! Picking up from v. 11 (v. 19, do not be far off and help), the singer lays out his request. In recalling God's past answers to his prayers, he asks for relief in his present distress. Note how dog, lion, and wild oxen (vv. 20-21) reverse the order of the threats in vv. 12-18.
