Problem with the crowd.
In Social Psychology, there is a branch called the Mob Psychology where its basic premise is that the crowd operates differently than the thoughts the individuals would normally have. There are several reasons for their dropping of their individual responsibilities.
As leaders for Christ, we will run into the crowd opposing us and may even be beaten or harassed by them. Yet, let us love each person and learn to work with the few. That is where transformation happens, not the crowd.
This also affects our business thinking. Instead of the common belief about reaching thousands (in church thinking, megachurches), let us impact the few. Ask the Holy Spirit to impact one or two people close to us, that their lives would be transformed by God.
17The crowd then grabbed Sosthenes, the leader of the synagogue, and beat him right there in the courtroom. But Gallio paid no attention.

Prayer Tents is a Christian mission organization that serves Christians around the world and their local bodies to make disciples ("evangelize") more effectively in their communities. Prayer Tents provides resources to enable Christians to form discipleship-focused small groups and make their gatherings known so that other "interested" people may participate and experience Christ in their midst. Our Vision is to make disciples in all nations through the local churches so that anyone seeking God can come to know Him through relationships with other Christians near them.
