1. Your new command to live with love was given us Jesus, from You.
We should share love, love for each one, trying to do what You taught us.
Though they are weak foll'wers of Him, each other love till the last day,
Singing a song, praising the Lord. then they went up Olive's mount.

2. Gethsemane's imploring prayer, our Father's will, it came to pass.
Way of the cross, suffering way, this way our Lord walked before us.
Then to the one who drew His sword, trying to hold evil crowds back.
"Patience till death," were our Lord's words in a low voice, facing the cross.

3. May we complete His will who prayed on our behalf, loving us all,
That we might be together joined, one in our Lord let it be so.
Shaped by God's word righteous and true, may our lives be holy and pure.
Acting with love as Jesus did, puts into deeds Christ's suff'ring way.
Amen.

Prayer Tents is a Christian mission organization that serves Christians around the world and their local bodies to make disciples ("evangelize") more effectively in their communities. Prayer Tents provides resources to enable Christians to form discipleship-focused small groups and make their gatherings known so that other "interested" people may participate and experience Christ in their midst. Our Vision is to make disciples in all nations through the local churches so that anyone seeking God can come to know Him through relationships with other Christians near them.
