1. A son of Lotan listed in the genealogy of Esau (Gen 36:22; 1 Chr. 1:39). The name is that of the “Horites,” the ancient inhabitants of Edom (Gen. 14:6).

2. The father of Shaphat, a leader of the tribe of Simeon sent by Moses to spy out Canaan (Num. 13:5).

Prayer Tents is a Christian mission organization that serves Christians around the world and their local bodies to make disciples ("evangelize") more effectively in their communities. Prayer Tents provides resources to enable Christians to form discipleship-focused small groups and make their gatherings known so that other "interested" people may participate and experience Christ in their midst.
