A brook (Heb. naḥal hāʿărāḇîm) on the Moab-Edom border, crossed by Moabite refugees carrying their belongings (Isa. 15:7). It has been identified with the Seil el-Qurahi, the lower course of the Wadi el-µesā, the biblical Brook Zered. It may be the same as the “Brook of the Arabah” (naḥal hāʿărāḇâ; Amos 6:14).
